Robert Nenow Winery brings premium Napa Valley wine to wholesale and direct sales.

A few years ago Robert and Lori Nenow turned a personal interest in fine wines to creating their own premium Napa Valley wines. Roberts' wine appreciation led him to begin working with Napa Valley' winemakers and brother in law, Les Behrens and his wife Lisa Drinkward at their beautiful winery at the top of Spring Mountain overlooking the Napa Valley.  Spending much of his vacation each year to learn how the wine he and Lori enjoyed was created.  The skills he developed from these highly praised winemakers provided a unique learning opportunity which has culminated in the Robert Nenow Winery "handcrafted wines".  Handcrafted wines describes the meticulous process of making fine wine for Robert Nenow Winery. 

It all begins in the vineyard where the grapes are tasted for ripeness before picking.  At the winery, the grapes are hand sorted to ensure the best fruit is used.  Fermentation is monitored individually in small lots with hand punch downs performed several times a day.  The wine is then pressed out in these same small lots to oak barrels for aging.  View our photo gallery to see each of these handcrafted steps.  After several years of internship at Erna Schein (formerly Behrens and Hitchcock) winery Robert has brought out his own label.
