Handcrafted is the best way to describe how
we make wine at Robert Nenow Winery. It all begins
in the vineyard where the grapes are tasted for ripeness right
from the vine before deciding when to pick. At the
winery, the grapes are hand sorted to ensure only the best of the
ripe fruit is used. Fermentation is monitored individually in
small lots and hand punch downs performed several times a day.
Pressing is the last time our wine will see the light of day.
For the next 18-24 months Robert Nenow Wines rub elbows in the cool
darkness of French oak barrels for softening only toasted oak
and aging can produce.
